GET READY TO RUMBLE (well...I hope your stomachs don't...after Goldilock's)

Kamusta mga kaibigan ko! (So you don't have to Google Translate all that... it meant: "Hi, my friends!")
AND
I hope you're all doing just fine, as our meet is coming up.
Colds are coming down.
People are getting sick left and right.
They're happy on the inside---that's what matters, but they're sick on the outside. So, stay away or keep your distance.
AnyWAYS, I'm just letting you all know, in a very DIRECTIONAL manner, that our meet is getting closer, and from sick people you should be getting farther---from.

A Filipino-Club-related, health-focused reminder for your Thanksgiving preparations!

THANKS JEMARIE!

Kudos to Jemarie (Internal Vice President) for creating a Facebook Page for the Filipino Club!
That means we can all start making events and discussing topics outside of school.
Yay!

Guys... Spread The Word Around.

It would be nice for us to have more people join our club, right?
More people that are interested---like us.

Ways you can achieve this:
1. Persuade at least ONE person to come each week; let them know our plans + show them the spirit we have!
2. Announce our club's presence in your advisory; we can give you a poster or a video to show our plans!
3. Show your talents and energetic personality during lunch; I'll perform with you guys just to have fun!
4. The OG way of doing it; speaking to other people you may or may not know, and informing them about it!

If we all strive to do this, at least once a week, then we're bound to have an abundant amount of fun and motivated peeps that can jive with us to help drive the JEEP of the FILIPINO CLUB towards SUCCESS! :)

First Post! (wootwoot)

One small click for man, one large post for mankind.

Filipino Club has been great! It will also be increasing in greatness soon. :)
Once we transition from an upstart club to a full-fledged, fundraising one...we'll have the impact and presence onto our school that we desire.  As a new club, we must stay devoted and dedicated.  Though those two adjectives are extremely similar, they deserve different approaches.  To be devoted, we must strive to support the flourishing of our club.  To be dedicated, we must actually take the time and effort to sustain this growth and excellence of our group of members.  Soon, we must acknowledge our presence as a culture-focused club and identify the members of our community that can assist us in our plan for expansion.

This would not be possible without your genuine contributions and participation, fellow member.
Like said above, the growth of our club cannot be stunted by mere dissatisfaction or premature complacency.

Please continue to arrive at our meetings, and thank you for taking the time to read through this initial post!
